Hahaha, but they’re obviously puffins, right? You knew that, right? You know, with the colour of the beaks and knowing that penguins can’t fly…?! Anyways. This layout, I am extremely proud of. This is version three of Vanquished. Featuring vectored puffins, it is the most worked on [visually] layout I have for vanquished so far. First version was just a couple of circles, and the coding screwed me over. Second version was of some rectangular octopus aliens, and again, the coding screwed me over. This time though, I spent many days and hours vectoring the cute little puffins, and once again, the coding screwed me over. Anyways, overlooking the bad coding… Aren’t they the cutest things ever?? I meant the puffins.

To visually get the puffins correct, since I don’t live anywhere near these cute creatures (else you’ll see some in my closet right now, hahaha), I had to do a lot of research, and of course, a lot of reference pictures. Heck, you can probably see where I got each puffin from if you just google puffin. Coding is an improved version of the previous layout’s so there are major similarities.

Start date on layout, June 17. End date on layout, and uploaded, June 20. Wow, I thought it took longer. It probably was because I hardcored the time I spent on it. That -and the fact that I had no school.

It seems that many of my pages are quite outdated. Especially the links pages, so I’ll be editing that. Speaking of links, I cleaned up my links (not the pages yet though). Here are some plugs, just for them Surprisingly, I don’t have that many linkage after cleaning up my list. Actually, barely any. I know some of you guys applied before, but I was too busy to get to your tag, if you think you can make it to my list still, be my guest and tag me again. XP

So sorry everyone for really disappearing for a month. I’m sorry I couldn’t return your messages, your emails and sometimes even instant messages!! It’s the end of the year and it’s unexpectedly painful and stressful!! I’ve been lacking sleep and nutrition, so after all this is done and over with -which is in another week and a half- I shall be free! And I’ll be able to rest up for more fun!!

Notice: For people who applied for hosting, for the previously said reason, I wasn’t able to return any of your emails, extreme apologies! I shall start replying to them after the first week of June-ish. I hope by then you’ll still want to be hosted by me >___<;;

Anyone who lives close to where I live would know that there was Anime North that went on last weekend. I went, did you? Camera and some photos courtesy from Ollie. It’s not all the photos we took, but if you see yourself in it, tell me! It would be so cool if you were caught on camera in the corner of the photo, or was the cosplayer!

All the way back a couple of months ago, if you asked me, “hey, you wanna join my challenge?”. I wouldn’t have known what you meant. It was up until I was surfing the web, and hit a completely different side of the web and found the existence of things called challenge sites. What are they? Well, from what I’ve seen so far, it is where a person goes and makes a whole list of challenges for the challengers to do. From making a batch of avatars to colouring a black and white photo! Never before seen in my life, other than contests of course. Even then a batch of avatars from one single person was a lot.

So with me saying this totally surprising thing, I now plug all my hostees that are challenge sites! Visit them and join their challenges!! I hope I didn’t forget anyone ^^” if i did, tell me and I’ll add you up here, hehe

So along with challenge sites, request sites popped out too!! It’s not your average I request a forum set, it’s requesting a set of something called a poster and a matching background What for? Apparently, there’s a site called Winglin that people write fanfictions about asian celebrities and post it there, and the poster & matching background is to make it more appealing hehe. I also encountered this thing around the same time as challenge sites! Phew! So many discoveries for me! And to my surprise, I also host many request sites! So if you write fanfics at Winglin, or just want a kickass poster, request from them! You can never work them too hard LOL, kidding.
